ROMANS

 

Paul, a servant called by grace

Writes to Rome to set the pace

To all God’s saints both near & far

Faith in Christ the guiding star

He thanks God for their steadfast love

Prayers rise to heaven above

The gospel power to save all men

From first to last from now to then

All have sinned, fall short of God

Yet mercy flows through Jesus’ blood

Justified freely through His name

No boast remains but praise proclaim

Faith, not works, the gift received

Abraham’s example long believed

Grace reigns through righteousness divine

Peace with God by faith is thine

Sin no longer holds the reign

Through Christ we walk new life’s plain

Dead to law but alive in Spirit

Freedom comes to those who hear it

Paul explains God’s plan for Jew & Gentile

Both reconciled through mercy’s mile

Predestined, chosen, called by love

All kept secure by grace above

Live by Spirit, not by flesh

Bearing fruits the life enmesh

Love your neighbor, serve with care

Rejoice, give thanks, God’s presence share

Obedience flows from heart sincere

Avoid all anger, envy, fear

Harmony in body & soul

Be holy, faithful, make Christ whole

Paul closes with greetings warm & true

Salute all saints both old & new

Scripture strong to teach, rebuke, guide

All glory, honor, to Christ applied

Live in unity, serve in might

Keep God’s word in hearts so bright

Faith, hope, love endure all days

God’s Spirit leads in all our ways
