Healing the lame & stories told

Ananias & Sapphira face their test

Yet God’s great plan stands above the rest

The apostles face threats & strife

Yet testify of Jesus’ life

Stephen stands firm before the crowd

His prayer forgiven, faithful & proud

Philip shares the gospel far & wide

To Samaria & desert beside

Ethiopian eunuch hears God’s word

Belief in Christ the Spirit stirred

Saul encounters the blinding light

Converted Paul becomes God’s knight

Preaching Christ to Jew & Gentile land

Through trials & prisons by God’s hand

Paul & Barnabas travel far & near

Spreading gospel without fear

Disputes resolved by Spirit’s grace

Unity in the early church place

Miracles follow as churches grow

Lords’ guidance seen in all they show

Letters written to strengthen faith

Encourage the saints & calm all wraith

The Spirit leads in journeys long

Praying, teaching, singing song

Acts closes with Paul in Rome

Proclaiming Jesus’ saving home

Go forth proclaim the risen King

Salvation & hope to all we bring

The church empowered the world to light

Shining in darkness with Spirit brigh
