1 CORINTHIANS

Paul greets the church with love & grace

To saints in Corinth he takes his place
Thanking God for gifts they share
Unity & faith beyond compare

Divisions warned against with care
One Lord, one faith, one hope to bear
No boasting in man but in the Lord
Through Christ alone salvation stored

Sexual immorality he rebukes
Honor God in all your pursuits
Marriage & singleness both advised
Serve the Lord with hearts aligned

Spiritual gifts are varied, true
Wisdom, healing, tongues, all for you
Love is greatest, Paul declares
Patient, kind, always cares

The body of Christ, one yet many parts
Each member vital, each has hearts
Do not stumble in freedom’s way
Do all for glory of God each day

Christ died for us, was raised again
Through Him we live free from sin’s chain
Baptism, Lord’s Supper, symbols tell
Christ’s sacrifice has triumphed well

Resurrection future certain, sure
Our mortal bodies shall endure
The last trumpet shall sound the call
All shall rise, both great & small

Obey leaders, live in peace
Do not quench the Spirit, let love increase
Give generously to those in need
God will supply in word & deed

Final greetings, warnings, prayers
Salute all saints with love that cares
Stand firm in faith, be strong, be wise
Rejoice in Christ, lift hearts to skies
