From Abraham down a royal view

A virgin conceives by Spirit’s power

Emmanuel born at Bethlehem’s hour

Wise men follow the star so bright

Herod rages with jealous might

Joseph flees to Egypt’s land

Till God calls back by guiding hand

John cries out in desert air

Repent & be cleansed with water there

Jesus baptized the heavens proclaim

This is My Son the Father’s name

He fasts in the wilderness forty days

Defeats temptation in holy ways

He calls His followers fishermen few

Come after Me & I’ll make you new

The Sermon on the Mount declares

Blessed are the poor God cares

Love your neighbor & love your foe

Seek first His kingdom treasures will show

Parables spoken seeds are sown

Faith like mustard kingdom grown

He heals the sick restores the blind

Shows God’s mercy heart so kind

Peter walks on waves of sea

Lord save me in fear’s decree

On this rock the church shall stand

By God’s grace & guiding hand

Jesus foretells His death to come

Disciples confused their hearts undone

Transfigured bright on mountain high

Moses & Elijah standing by

He enters Jerusalem riding low

Crowds cry Hosanna praises flow

Tables overturned the temple cleared

The cross draws close the hour neared

Bread is broken the cup is poured

This is My body remember the Lord

Betrayed by Judas denied by friend

Yet His kingdom has no end

Crucified upon the tree

Darkness falls yet victory

The stone rolled back the angel’s word

He is risen proclaim the Lord

Go make disciples near & far

Lo I am with you where you are
