1 THESSALONIANS

Paul greets the saints in Thessalon’ town
With joy & love that lifts them from down
He thanks their God for faith so true
For hope & love that shines through

He tells them how he shared the word
Boldly preaching, fully stirred
Though trials came, they held on tight
Their faith a beacon, shining bright

“Remember your leaders,” Paul implores
“Follow their ways, open God’s doors
Live quietly, mind your own
Work with your hands, let truth be shown”

He comforts them about the dead
“Fear not, for Christ has conquered dread
The Lord will come, the trumpet sound
And raise the faithful from the ground”

“Encourage each, build one another
Live in peace, like sister & brother
Always rejoice, pray without end
Give thanks in all, let grace extend”

Paul warns against the idle heart
And urges each to do their part
Be holy, pure, & free from blame
Walk in the light & praise His name

He prays for strength to face each day
For courage, patience, love to stay
For hearts to grow in faith & grace
Reflecting God in every place

“Support the weak, uplift the low
Rejoice with those who overflow
Bear one another’s burdens light
And walk in truth with hearts upright”

He closes with greetings, prayers, & peace
Hoping their faith will never cease
May joy & love abound each day
And may your life reflect God’s way

Stand firm, hold fast, be bold & kind
Keep Christ in heart, in soul, in mind
Rejoice, give thanks, keep hope alive
In Christ alone you shall survive
