Paul writes to Philemon, friend so dear
With gentle words to calm & cheer
He speaks of Onesimus, once lost & gone
Now found in Christ, a new life drawn
“Welcome him back, no longer a slave
But as a brother, the Lord can save
Though he once wronged you, now he’s restored
Through Christ’s great love, we are all adored”
Paul humbly asks, yet speaks with grace
For unity & peace in every place
He offers to repay what might be owed
But trusts your heart, your love showed
“This letter is written not by command
But by the urging of my hand
For love, for Christ, for bonds renewed
For hearts transformed in gratitude”
He prays for joy & fellowship sweet
For love & faith in every seat
May Philemon, Onesimus, & all they meet
Reflect God’s mercy in word & deed
Paul closes with blessing, prayer, & care
For hearts to flourish, souls laid bare
In Christ we stand, in Christ we rise
United forever beneath the skies
